The neighborhood is accessible by subway and train stations. It is a neighborhood with many shops and cultural options, such as the Fernando Torres, Eva Wilma and Sílvio Romero theaters. There is also the Parque Municipal do Tatuapé and Clube Recreativo CERET, which offer several sports and leisure options.

History
The São Bento José Labre has inaugurated a new program within FICA: Morar Primeiro, geared towards sheltering homeless people. It is a partnership with the Miguel Arcanjo Parish, represented by Father Júlio Lancellotti. The building was furnished with donations of household appliances from Magazine Luiza and mattresses from Plumatex. We also relied on donations of resources from various supporters and lunch boxes during the move from Ocupação Nove de Julho.
