LAMEIRÃO

Where is

In Brás, downtown São Paulo, near Mooca and Canindé neighborhoods.

It is famous throughout the country for the traditional commerce of clothing and accessories, as well as having a region that sells wood and furniture and also the cereal zone, which has characterized it as an industrial district and a reference in popular commerce.

The Largo da Concórdia, the Benemérito José Brás Park, the Catavento Museum, sports and leisure options are located there. In addition, the neighborhood has two subway stations.

How is

It is a two-story house with three bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, kitchen and a generous backyard. It is a very old house, in a block of terraced houses that is already suffering from a process of sale and disfiguration.

History

The Lameirão is a shared house that is managed by FICA and is part of the Compartilha program. The house was not bought and is a test of FICA in the renting and subletting model. The thesis is that, because we are a reliable and respected organization, we are able to rent properties for below market value and sublease them to populations that have difficulty proving their income and formalizing traditional contracts. The owners, besides contributing to a social initiative, gain the care of the property and a fair financial return.
